Terms of Service

These terms apply to the iOS apps published by Pinebit (the "apps") and to pinebit.app and getpadelscore.com (the "websites"). Pinebit is operated by Marcis Prieditis, Latvia. By using the apps or the websites, you agree to these terms.
1. Using the apps
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the apps on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies. If it conflicts with these terms, these terms apply to the extent permitted.
2. Subscriptions and purchases
- Purchases and subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple Account.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- If you start a free trial, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Prices can vary by country and may change. Changes don't affect a period you've already paid for.
3. AI features and results
Some apps use artificial intelligence to identify items, estimate values, convert or generate content. Results are produced automatically and can be wrong. They are for general information and entertainment only, and are not a professional appraisal or financial, legal or medical advice. Check anything important with a qualified professional before relying on it, for example before selling an item or getting a tattoo.
4. Sports and health features
Scoring, timer and workout features are not medical devices. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise programme, and stop if you feel unwell. Heart-rate, calorie and workout figures are for fitness tracking, not diagnosis or treatment.
The Padel Score app and the free browser scoreboard on getpadelscore.com are for personal, lawful padel scoring. They may contain errors, so keep your own awareness of the score wherever a competition depends on it, and they are not designed for betting. Rules guides on getpadelscore.com are general information; the rules of your club or tournament decide your actual match.
5. Your content
You keep all rights to the photos, text and other content you create or submit. You give us permission to process that content only as needed to provide the feature you're using. If you send us feedback or feature ideas, we may use them to improve our apps without any obligation to you.
6. Feature requests and acceptable use
Feature suggestions are visible to other users of the same app. Don't post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or spam, and don't include personal information. We may remove any suggestion and block devices that break these rules. You also agree not to misuse the apps or our servers, for example by reverse engineering, overloading them or trying to get around limits or payments.
7. Our rights
The apps, the websites, and their design, code and content belong to Pinebit or its licensors. These terms don't give you any rights to our names, logos or trademarks.
8. Changes and availability
We work to keep the apps running well, but we may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue an app or feature you paid for, you can contact us or Apple about a refund.
9. Warranties and liability
The apps are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we don't guarantee that they will be error-free or always available. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by relying on AI results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, you keep all rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
10. Ending use
You can stop using the apps at any time by deleting them. We may restrict access for anyone who seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Latvia. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the country where you live, and you can bring claims in your local courts.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the apps after a change means you accept the new terms.
